STARS Booster Club
SUPPORTING- The goal of STARS is to support competitive gymnastics by providing financial support and encouragement for our gymnasts. STARS will pay part of the competition expenses of our gymnasts so that all qualified members can compete regardless of their financial situation. STARS also strives to help each member to reach her full potential and to take pride in her accomplishments, while providing encouragement “when the going gets tough.”
TALENTED - ALL STARS gymnasts are truly talented, not only as gymnasts,
but in other areas of their lives. Among our members are excellent
students, writers, dancers, musicians, athletes in other sports and
individuals with numerous other talents. STARS hopes to encourage our
gymnasts to develop all their talents.
ATHLETES- Every member of the gymnastics team is definitely an athlete,
whether she is currently pre-team or elite. STARS wants to enable each
member to develop her athletic skills and to compete at her level reducing
the cost of competition.
REACHING for - Gymnasts are constantly striving to reach a new goal.
This could involve moving up to the next competitive level, achieving a
certain score on a routine, qualifying for state or regional, or learning a
new skill. STARS hopes to encourage each member to continue to reach for
their goals.
SUCCESS - Success is not measured just in winning gold medals. Success
is the result of being the best you can be, of continuing to reach new
goals, and of being proud of your accomplishments. STARS wants to support
and encourage each gymnast so she can succeed both in gymnastics and in
other areas of her life.
